Statement Of Beliefs
The Word
We believe the Word of God in its entirety (from Genesis to Revelation). We believe that Jesus Christ is the personified Word of God according to John 1:1. We are committed to preaching this Gospel without compromise. We still believe regardless of the generation we live in that we must be holy before the Lord and live a life that will bring honor to Him and lead the lost to salvation. The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and life.
The Godhead
We believe there is one God, revealed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man. The Holy Spirit is God dwelling in the spirit of men and women in the regeneration through repentance of sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ.
Salvation
Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We further believe that salvation with no evidence of change equals false conversion. Salvation must be achieved not only through repentance, but a genuine turning from sin to righteousness. Many believe that we can just confess and be saved, without fruit of change. This is NOT true. We are admonished to not only confess and believe, but to be saved unto righteousness, which is the evidence of true salvation. (ref. Romans 10:10)
Spiritual Gifts
We believe in the fullness of being filled with the Holy Spirit, which encompasses speaking in tongues as the Spirit wills, laying on of hands, prophesying, and all of the spiritual gifts it entails. We believe in the supernatural manifestation of healing, miracles, and the tangible presence of God revealed through His Glory.
